Wool & Linen is a small, independent fibre‑based art studio producing hand woven textile works. All items are handmade, produced in limited quantities, and sold directly via this website, commission, or private sale.


3. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Due to the handmade nature of the work:

  • Each piece is one‑of‑a‑kind or limited edition.
  • Sold items may not be replicated.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue or limit quantities at any time.

Descriptions, photographs, colours, and measurements are presented as accurately as possible; however slight variations may occur due to handmade processes and screen display differences. These variations are not considered faults.


4. PRICING

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

  • Change pricing without notice.
  • Correct pricing errors.
  • Cancel orders placed at incorrect prices.

5. ORDERS & PAYMENT

Orders are confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • Cash
  • Approved online payment gateways

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or incorrect product information.


6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping timeframes are estimates only.

Wool & Linen is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal services
  • Couriers
  • Customs processing
  • Events beyond our control

Risk and responsibility transfer to the customer once an order has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.


7. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Eligible returns include:

  • Manufacturing faults
  • Significant undisclosed damage

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Change of mind
  • Fibre shedding
  • Texture variation
  • Screen colour differences
  • Damage caused by improper care

Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Approved returns may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion in line with statutory obligations.


8. COMMISSIONS & CUSTOM ORDERS

Commissioned works require:

  • A non‑refundable deposit (minimum 50%).
  • An agreed design brief prior to commencement.

As custom works are made to specification:

  • Deposits are non‑refundable once production begins.
  • Final payment is due prior to delivery.

9. PRODUCT CARE & USE

Customers agree to follow all care instructions provided.

Wool & Linen is not liable for damage caused by:

  • Machine washing
  • Heat drying
  • Chemical detergents
  • Improper storage

Hand washing and flat drying is recommended unless otherwise specified.

Goods are sold as wearable art textiles. Customers are responsible for assessing fibre suitability, including allergies or sensitivities.


10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content and product materials — including text, images, designs, weaving drafts, branding, and photography — remain the intellectual property of Wool & Linen.

Content and products may not be:

  • Copied
  • Reproduced
  • Reverse engineered
  • Used commercially

Without prior written permission.


11. USE OF WEBSITE

You agree not to use this website:

  • For unlawful purposes
  • To violate any laws or regulations
  • To infringe intellectual property rights
